Morning and Evening Classes
Oil painting classes for all levels.
Beginners are guided step-by-step through all stages of creating a painting. Improvers are encouraged to develop their style, through expert guidance, in theme of their own choice.
These courses run in 10 week blocks mirroring the school terms:
- from September through to December
- from January to Easter
- from Easter to June
The sessions are weekly from 10.30 to 12.30am and 8pm to 10pm.
At the end of every year we have an exhibition of work in a local gallery, this year we are delighted to be showing at AIB, lynches Castle, Galway. Exhibition will run during the Volvo ocean race, July 2012

New Drawing classes for all levels.
Beginners are guided step-by-step through all stages of observational drawing . Improvers are encouraged to develop their style, through expert guidance, variety of drawing media encouraged.
This drawing course will run for six weeks:
- from Feburary 2012
The sessions are two hours weekly from 8pm to 10pm. all materials are provided for these workshops, fee €115 inclusive

Sculpture
New Clay Modelling Sculpture workshops. Unique to Art in Galway, we now offer full day and half day Sculpture workshops, learn how to model in air drying clay, you will be taken step by step through the process of clay sculpting.
- from Feburary 2012
- Full day workshops on Mondays and Saturdays from 10:30am - 4:30pm. Fee €80 per day.
- Half day workshops on Thursday mornings from 10:30am - 1pm. Fee €40.
all materials are provided for these workshops. Tea and Coffee included
